The Great Sentence Caper!  Today in Language Arts, the students started to brainstorm on what theme they will be presenting to the class.  In teams of four, the students will become a character that can only talk in one of the types of sentences.  Through the use of theatre, the students are integrating the use of the four types of sentences in their writing.  On Friday, we will be presenting our capers to the classroom. Mrs. Haddox will not only grade our writing, but our presentations.

In Science, we are studying the layers of the Earth and in Math we are estimating.

REMINDER:  Tomorrow is PICTURE DAY!  Please bring in your form and money.

                       Also, Mrs. Haddox's class will visit the Book Fair in the morning.

Spelling:  Test Friday (don't forget to use Spelling City!)
Reading:  Tony and the Snark writing prompt tomorrow in class
Social Studies:  Complete questions 2-5 on page 19
Science:  Finish the study guide
