In math, the students have been using the order of operations to evaluate expressions and the properties of operations to identify the property used in an equation.  Ask your child to sing the properties of operations song we sing in class to help remember the differences between the properties!

In science we're exploring the three types of rocks in the rock cycle.  The students observe and classify the types of rocks according to their properties and then match specific rock names to the rock samples.
